Sticky situations.

I partnered with a group of senior film students to develop a striking movie poster for their thesis film Wax. Through a collaborative creative process, I translated their film’s tone and narrative into a visual identity that balances cinematic drama and intrigue. Conceptual sketches evolved into a polished final poster design—its composition, color, and typography all working together to establish a mood that reflects the film’s themes. This project underscored my ability to adapt graphic storytelling to narrative-driven contexts, and to co-design effectively with emerging filmmakers.

The design process for WAX was as tactile as it was conceptual. Each rhinestone letter was meticulously hand-applied to transfer tape before being lifted and placed to form the sparkling, die-cut title. On set, I directed and photographed the model, ensuring the visual tone aligned with the film’s bold, unapologetic narrative.
