
Love, rebellion, and the colors in between.
For this concept project with The Kooples, I designed a print catalog and a series of social media motion pieces that bring the brand’s rebellious, romantic spirit to life. Using a bold rainbow motif as a throughline, the campaign celebrates the full spectrum of their collection while nodding to themes of individuality and self-expression.
Inspired by the brand’s edgy, couple-centric aesthetic, I aimed to strike a balance between high-fashion polish and raw energy. The result is a visual system that feels both elevated and offbeat—inviting viewers into a vivid, expressive world that still feels unmistakably Kooples.
The design approach extended beyond aesthetics into storytelling, with each spread and motion frame crafted to feel like a fleeting moment between characters. Layered textures, sharp typographic contrasts, and dynamic pacing in the motion pieces create a sense of immediacy, mirroring the spontaneity and intimacy the brand is known for.
